CHOREOPOP was founded by Sumin Choi, Sage Lee, and Jessica Um-- three Korean friends with a passion for their culture-- at LASA in 2015. They wished to change the negative stigma surrounding K-Pop and Asian culture into something more positive.

Dance was the language they chose to communicate their message with.

The team began as a mere seven members. In the following year, the club grew to nearly thirty members, and had expanded past LASA to include LBJ students. Recently, LASA moved campuses but we still collaborate with our friends at LBJ.

We are incredibly thankful for the supportive responses we have received at performances, and we are grateful for the opportunities to promote a wonderful culture. We hope you will discover the K-Pop fever and join us in a celebration of Asian strength, cultural expression, and diversity.
